More than some 'missing moments' here; this should be a new chapter in subsequent printings of OoTP! Absolutely fantastic treatment of the Twins, and I wholeheartedly agree that they reveice very short shrift in canon. So many excellent bits here to point out: I really enjoy how you go to lengths to point out that F & G are really quite different...very well done. Their banter is spot on, as is their relationship with Jordan and Towler--just as one would imagine! And this is the fic where the name 'MacGhinty' shows up! Love that! Excellent backstory, and now we know more about how the Wheezes came into being. One of my favourites!

No matter how many times I've read this, it never fails to move me as deeply as the first. So visceral, so real, so awful. War is indeed hellish, and I fear the Weasleys will pay more than their fair share in the upcoming canon conflict. The relationship between F & G is so carefully crafted here; so painful to watch George's helplessness. And the scene at the gathering...gods, I choke up just thinking about it. Amazing work.
